The 755nm Alexandrite wavelength is highly absorbed by melanin and is ideal for lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick I–III), delivering fast, thorough clearance of fine and coarse hair. The 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength penetrates more deeply and bypasses surface pigment, making it the safest, most reliable choice for darker and tanned skin (Fitzpatrick IV–VI) where other lasers carry a higher risk of burns or pigment change. Because the device combines both wavelengths, your provider can tailor the treatment precisely to your skin type and hair characteristics — and even treat different areas of the body with the optimal wavelength in a single visit. An integrated Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) bursts a cooling spray onto the skin a fraction of a second before each pulse, protecting the surface and making treatments far more comfortable.
