The Excel V+ by Cutera is a high-power, dual-wavelength vascular laser combining 532nm and 1064nm light. The 532nm wavelength targets superficial redness, fine vessels, and brown spots, while the deeper-penetrating 1064nm reaches larger and deeper blue or bluish vessels and leg veins — letting the provider tailor treatment to the exact depth and color of each vessel. A built-in cooling system keeps the skin comfortable throughout. It is used for diffuse facial redness and rosacea, broken capillaries, spider and reticular leg veins, port-wine birthmarks, cherry angiomas, and sun-induced brown spots. Treatments are quick with little to no downtime — skin may look slightly pink or flushed for a few hours afterward.
